Project Objectives:
The primary objectives of the project were as follows:
- Upgrade the property's exterior appearance through repainting
- Provide a complete scope of work that aligns with the client's requirements and results in a high-quality finished product.
Activities:
The following activities were undertaken as part of the comprehensive renovation project:
1. Repaint All Exterior Walls:
Inspect all exterior walls for surface preparation, including cleaning, patching, and priming. Apply fresh coats of paint to exterior walls to achieve a consistent and refreshed appearance.
2. Repaint All Surfaces (Including Window, Door Frames, Garage Door):
Prepare and repaint all surfaces, including window frames, door frames, and the garage door. This process involves sanding, priming, and applying new paint to ensure a cohesive and appealing finish throughout the property.
Taking on a project on an estate is like no other. Luckily, we had all systems in place, and in this manner, we were able to seamlessly manage this project without any delays whatsoever.
The following procedure was followed:
Pre-Work Preparation:
1. Site Visit and Inspection:
- A thorough site inspection was conducted to assess the condition of the exterior walls, identify defects, and determining the extent of necessary preparation.
2. Color Selection:
- Paint colors and finishes were selected in coordination with the estate owner or their representative.
3. Permits and Approvals:
- All required permits and approvals were obtained before commencing work, complying with local regulations.
Surface Preparation:
4. Cleaning:
- The exterior walls were cleaned, removing dirt, grime, loose paint, and mildew using appropriate methods, primarily power washing.

6. Scraping and Sanding:
- Loose or peeling paint was scraped and sanded to create a smooth, even surface.
7. Primer Application:

Painting:
